Our National Parks Panorama fifteen day trip has begins in Las Vegas, winds through the Grand Canyon, visits the historical Route 66 and numerous National Parks.
Grand Canyon
One of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, northern Arizona's Grand Canyon puts the grandiosity of Mother Nature in perspective and serves as a window into the region's geological and cultural past. Among the country's first national parks, the Grand Canyon has long been considered a U.S. treasure – and a very vast one at that. Its immense size leaves many visitors awestruck. The South Rim is open year-round, but the North Rim closes for the winter.
Route 66
U.S. Highway 66 — popularly known as Route 66 — holds a special place in American consciousness. Its name commonly evokes images of simpler times, mom-and-pop businesses, and the icons of a mobile nation on the road. Travelers on Highway 66 today can easily experience this past, as many of the motels, gas stations, cafés, parks, trading posts, bridges, and roadbeds remain along the thoroughfare.

Monument Valley
Monument Valley is not a valley at all, but rather a wide, flat landscape interrupted by colorful red buttes and spires rising hundreds of feet into the air. These are the last remnants of the sedimentary rock layers that once covered the entire region. Monument Valley is contained entirely within the Navajo reservation, occupying both Utah and Arizona. This is is one of the most remarkable, beautiful and famous landscapes in the world, early recognized by Hollywood as a stunning background for western films.
Bryce Canyon
Over millions of years of freezes and thaws, water and wind havecarved endless fields of red rock pillars, called hoodoos, into the park's series of natural amphitheaters. Hoodoos exist on every continent, but here in Bryce Canyon is the largest concentration found anywhere on Earth. Situated along a high plateau at the top of the Grand Staircase, the park's high elevations include numerous wildlife communities, fantastic star-filled dark skies, and geological wonders that will delight and amaze.
Zion
Like many areas in the State of Utah, the area we know of today as Zion National Park was first explored by Mormon pioneers in the 1850s. The land they found was harsh, wild, and had been scarcely explored, being inhabited solely by Southern Paiute Indians. It took years for people outside of Utah to recognize and comprehend Zion’s unique beauty. Explore the towering sandstone cliffs, majestic slot canyons, and unique array of plants and animals that define this ancient land.
Jackson Hole
Jackson Hole refers to a 48-mile long valley surrounded by jagged mountain peaks and includes the towns of Jackson, Kelly, Moose, Moran, Wilson, and Teton Village. Known to early settlers as Jackson’s Hole, the area has been renowned since its discovery in the early 1800’s for its incredible natural beauty and abundance of wildlife.
Yellowstone
Yellowstone illustrates how truly violent the Earth can be with boiling hot springs, fumaroles, mud spots, and geysers. Yellowstone, however, is much more than hot ground. Park boundaries enclose craggy peaks, alpine lakes, deep canyons, and vast forests. In 1872, Yellowstone became the world's first national park, the result of great foresight on the part of many people about our eventual need for the solace and beauty of wild places.
Glacier
A hiker’s paradise, Glacier National Park provides an exceptional backcountry experience, the perfect summer vacation for families and adventurers. Glaciers cut through stone, creating valleys and filling rushing rivers. Fields of wildflowers fill the spaces between mountains in the warm summer months while sparkling stars fill the darkness of the night and jagged peaks jut through the crystal clear mountain lakes.
Arches
Visit Arches to discover a landscape of contrasting colors, land forms and textures unlike any other in the world. The park has over 2,000 natural stone arches, in addition to hundreds of soaring pinnacles, massive fins and giant balanced rocks. Yosemite
As one of America’s most popular national parks, Yosemite boasts some of the best views, hiking trails, and family vacation opportunities in the country. Las Vegas
A desert metropolis built on gambling, vice and other forms of entertainment, in just a century of existence Las Vegas has drawn millions of visitors and trillions of dollars in wealth to southern Nevada. The city was founded by ranchers and railroad workers but quickly found that its greatest asset was not its springs but its casinos.
Salt Lake City
Salt Lake City is the vibrant, urban heart of Utah. Nestled within a valley, known as the Wasatch Front, Salt Lake City can be described as comfortably urban. It provides landmark establishments, high-rated dining and nightlife, mass transit, and creative culture of a thriving metro area. As one of the earliest settlements in the western United States it has a uniquely historic feel compared to other western cities.
